Miami to Quito was fairly uneventful, thank goodness! We flew LAN and it was great! Nice seats with available movies, TV, radio, games, etc. Airline provided blankets and pillows. They served a meal and a snack! No extra charge for any of it and done with a smile.
We landed after dark so could only see the city lights but it was beautiful. Can't wait until we get up in the morning to see what Quito really looks like. We're staying at the Quito Airport Suites. A small hacienda with several rooms each with their own bath. Seems clean and neat and they serve breakfast!
I turned on the TV to see what was available and much to my disappointment there was Honey Boo Boo and one of the swamp shows in Spanish. I'm kinda concerned that Ecuadorians will think we're all like that! It was pretty funny when Honey Boo Boo or her mother spoke and it was dubbed over in Spanish tho! Lots of soccer but also NBA basketball. Note to self: when looking for BASEBALL on TV here they spell it BEISBOL.
Talked to the boys on Tango and that seems to work fine. We're flying to Manta tomorrow early and will be on the beach by Noon!
