We left the museum at 1pm and walked out onto the usually busy streets of Cuenca, only to notice that it looked like a ghost town. It took us a couple blocks to realize that the opening ceremonies of the World Cup had just started - and it definitely made an impact on the number of people out and about yesterday.
We ate at Don Colon's restaurant at it's new location near the Park Calderon. Dana had a salad and I had pork in pineapple sauce. The almuzeros were $4 person with fresh squeezed juice and flan for dessert.
